The Dean of People Management (Progesp/UFRN) makes available, until December 30th, the 2019 Performance Assessment, which must be carried out by all technical-administrative employees and teachers in management positions. The procedure, provided for by law, has the general objective of developing people and improving management. The assessment can be accessed through the Integrated Human Resources Management System (Sigrh), in the Assessment – Performance Assessment – Perform assessment tab.
According to the coordinator of Progesp's Monitoring and Evaluation Division, Derisclea Ramos, the system is increasingly linked to administrative processes, such as removal, removal and redistribution, in addition to being mandatory to subsidize functional progressions based on merit. “Evaluation can and should be used as a way to improve performance and as an argument for obtaining achievements and rights, so that good employees are recognized and valued”, he states.
The coordinator adds that the tool has also acquired importance in management, as it allows the definition of responsibilities, planning and evaluation of compliance with the sector's goals. Likewise, it promotes the participation of all employees in planning and executing the actions of each unit. The assessment also has, among others, the specific objectives of identifying aspects of the work that facilitate or hinder performance, facilitate interpersonal relationships and contribute to the assessment of training needs.
