Professor at CCHLA/UFRN launches book on the production of argumentative texts

Professor Clebson Luiz de Brito, from the Department of Literature at CCHLA/UFRN, has just launched the work “Producing texts and arguing: practical bases for systematic planning”, published by EDUFRN. The book aims to expand readers' skills in producing argumentative texts, offering an accessible and practical approach to the planning necessary to create efficient and persuasive texts.
Composed of eight chapters, the work explores fundamental themes for those seeking to improve their argumentative skills, such as the organization and hierarchization of content, the use of linguistic and rhetorical resources, and the construction of a credible image of the author through the text. Throughout the book, the author shares not only theories of argumentation, but also experiences acquired in his Reading and Argumentative Text Production classes, which are offered in the Department of Humanities for different courses at UFRN.
The work highlights the importance of systematic planning and detailed analysis of different texts, facilitating the understanding of the concepts covered. The book is available in digital format, for free download, in the UFRN repository.
