UFRN promotes 1st Language Film Festival at Instituto Ágora

From December 17th to 20th, the Idiomas Sem Fronteiras Film Festival at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promises to take the public on a cinematic journey full of cultural and linguistic diversity. Always at 3pm, in the Instituto Ágora auditorium, the free event celebrates productions from four languages ​​and cultures: Brazilian, Spanish, Italian and Japanese cinema, with all films subtitled.
In this first edition, the festival is coordinated by Izabel Nascimento, who highlighted the special nature of the event: "It is the end of the year for the scholarship holders of Idiomas Sem Fronteiras at UFRN. We want to give cinephiles the opportunity to have films commented and debated with a research professor, a doctor in the audiovisual field.."
Professor Gilmar Santana, from the Department of Social Sciences at UFRN and a doctor in audiovisual, will be responsible for enriching the exhibitions with comments and debates, providing participants with an immersive and reflective experience.
In addition to the exhibitions and debates, participants receive a special booklet with the “tickets” for each session, as a souvenir of the event, and will be able to request listener certificates issued by PROEX.
