Natal will be one of the 27 cities to host the 14th Cinema and Human Rights Exhibition, which will take place from November 27th to 30th. Held by the Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship and produced by the Cinema and Video Department of the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF-Niterói), this year's exhibition has the theme “Living with dignity is a human right”. The event celebrates cinema as a tool for raising awareness and debate around Human Rights, exploring stories that address dignity, freedom and justice.
The program in Natal will feature more than 20 films, with children's screenings, screenings of short and feature films, as well as debates with guests and mediators. With the aim of making cinema accessible to everyone, the sessions will offer descriptive subtitling, Libras windows and spaces adapted for accessibility, all of which are free.
