From July 4th until the end of the 2026 Elections, the official communication channels of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will be under exceptional conditions, in compliance with the legislation relating to the Electoral Closed Period.
The measure follows recommendations issued by the Attorney General's Office (AGU) and does not interfere with the functioning of academic, administrative activities or community service, which continue to occur normally.
During the election period, the restrictions provided for in the legislation may also affect content produced before the start of the closure that remains available on the University's official channels. For this reason, some publications may be temporarily hidden or have their visibility limited.
UFRN clarifies that these measures do not represent the definitive exclusion of content, but a temporary adjustment to the legal requirements applicable during the electoral period.
After the end of the Electoral Close, full disclosure of content will be resumed, in accordance with current legislation.
