University holds seminar on Distance Learning

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) is holding, through the Department of Distance Education (Sedis), on the 30th, the UniRede Nordeste Regional Seminar. This year's theme will be EaD on the agenda: scenario, challenges and perspectives in the offer of HEIs associated with the Northeast. The event takes place from 8:30 am to 6 pm and will feature lectures and discussions related to the topic.
The UniRede Regional Seminar is an event held annually in the five regions of the country, to discuss topics related to the current context of distance education policies, with members and potential members. Representatives from each region propose a theme that serves as support for discussions at the National Seminar, the Brazilian Congress of Distance Higher Education and the International Congress of Distance Higher Education.
Considering the offering of Distance Learning (EaD) courses, institutions need to discuss the main problems relating to the quality of the pedagogical, methodological and academic actions that permeate these offerings. In this edition of the Seminar, discussions will be guided by the themes: evasion, Enade concepts and the political context of distance education in Brazil.
