Next Saturday, the 26th, the Sociedade de Debates Potiguar project, from UFRN, will hold the VII Public Speaking Workshop, a free event open to all those interested in developing interpersonal skills and communication tactics. The action will take place in room E3 of Class Section III, on the UFRN Central Campus, between 9am and 12pm.
The theme of the workshop will be Non-Verbal Communication and the idea is for participants to develop their communication skills to apply them in their daily lives and in the job market. The action will be led by student Marília Melo, who has a degree in Social Sciences from UFRN and a master's degree in Social Anthropology. She works in the line of research on Spaces, Images and Technologies, more specifically in the area of Anthropology of Technique and Emotions.
The Oratory Workshop is another front of action for the Sociedade de Debates Potiguar, a UFRN extension project aimed at promoting the tradition of debates in Brazil and, mainly, in Rio Grande do Norte, at the same time that it seeks to develop the oratory and argumentation skills of its participants.
Other information about the public speaking workshop is available on the Sociedade de Debates Potiguar social networks (Facebook and Instagram).
