DEART week enables student exchange in different areas

To encourage exchanges between the areas of Visual Arts, Dance, Design and Theater, the Department of Arts (DEART) at UFRN promotes the DEART Week 2019.2, which will be held next week, between the 4th and 8th of November.
The event program consists of lectures, workshops, short courses, film exhibitions and presentations in the morning, afternoon and evening. In the workshops, furniture projects and prototypes for lounge spaces will be exhibited, led by professor Rodrigo Boufleur. Other workshops will be taught, such as painting and graffiti, the construction of mummies and masks, among others.
The lectures will cover topics such as Folk festivals in the North of Brazil, which will be led by professor José Sávio Araújo on November 5th, at 3pm; and The philosophies of the body: mind/brain/body – panorama dilemma dualism versus monism, which will be taught by professor Marcos Bragato on November 6th, at 6:45 pm. In addition, there will be an open class by the UFRN Dance Group and another class on the Urban Furniture Project taught by professor Luciano Barbosa. All teachers are from DEART.

PPG publishes notice for Young Professor in Postgraduate programs

The Dean of Postgraduate Studies (PPG) and the Dean of Research (Propesq) make public the notice for the inclusion of young doctors in the teaching staff of postgraduate programs in strategic areas at UFRN.
