The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) made the E-book “Geography and Art” available, through its digital Institutional Repository, which is accessible for free at repositorio.ufrn.br.
The work is a production by academics from several universities in the country, who relate artistic means with the panorama of geography in cities, with professor Alessandro Dozena, from the Department of Geography at UFRN, as its organizer.
"Art in cities, especially in their public spaces, provides many experiences of encounters between people and between different forms of art. Geography and art express the possibility of constituting experiments that transcend the limits of formally established academic reasoning, and become fields capable of establishing an interesting, plural and motivating dialogue", writes the professor in the presentation of the work.
