UFRN project opens UNESCO cycle of Anti-Racist Actions this Tuesday

The Meeting of Knowledge Project developed by the Department of Anthropology (DAN) and the Postgraduate Program in Anthropology (PPGAS), of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) at UFRN promotes the opening of the Unesco Cycle of Anti-Racist Actions, this Tuesday, 15th, holding the “IV Conversation of Seeds: Being African in Brazil in the Time of Covid-19”, with online transmission from 3pm on the project’s YouTube channel.
 
The event is coordinated by Anthropology professor, Ana Gretel, and has the participation of researchers from IEaf-UFPE, UFC, UFPA, UFRN and UNILAB-CE. Interested parties can register for the event through the Sigaa system and a certificate of participation will be issued.
 
The project developed by UFRN was approved by the UNESCO Chair of Higher Education and Indigenous and Afro-descendant Peoples in Latin America to integrate initiatives to eradicate racism in Higher Education. The actions will take place until November 15th.
