The Complementary Program for High School Students (Proceem) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) receives applications until Friday, 22nd, for the selection of scholarship holders teaching teaching activities. The selection process is aimed at students regularly enrolled in undergraduate courses at UFRN, in the areas of Portuguese, Geography, Philosophy, Physics and Mathematics. Those approved will work 20 hours a week, including eight hours in the classroom, two hours of student support and 10 hours for planning, according to the needs of the program.
Candidates will be subject to evaluation by a selection committee, which will assign grades for the curricular analysis and the didactic test, held on February 25th. The list with the order of those registered to take the didactic test will be available on the 23rd, on the official Proceem page on Facebook, where the final result will also be announced on February 26th. Those selected will have an effective relationship with the program within a period of one year.
Registration is carried out exclusively online, following the procedures required in the selection process notice, available here.
About Proceem
Developed since 2005 in partnership with the Deans of Undergraduate Studies (Prograd) and Extension (Proex), Proceem/UFRN offers free preparatory classes for the National High School Exam (Enem). The program aims to prepare students for academic life in Higher Education, contribute to the training of undergraduate students and develop research that enables the advancement of sciences linked to educational practices.
Based on their performance in the 2018 Enem, approximately 70% of Proceem students were approved in the UFRN Unified Selection System (Sisu). Of the 115 students who completed the program, 80 were called up in the first or second Sisu call for courses in Administration, Architecture, Law, Civil Engineering, Pharmacy, Psychology, Medicine, among others, with the expectation of new results.
