PET Geografia launches the 65th edition of GeoPET Notícias

The Tutorial Education Program (PET) of the Department of Geography (DGE) at UFRN announces the launch of the 65th edition of GeoPET Notícias. The work represents the journal's first publication in 2022, covering the quarter from January to April.
In this edition, the newspaper discusses the most important news from Brazil and the world. In the GeoUrb column, a geographic perspective on the problems of the Natal population in relation to public transport was addressed. In the other columns, the focus was on geographical observations in anime and games, discussions about carnival in Natal and various other topics related to geography.
GeoPET Notícias is a newspaper edited and distributed to students, teachers and employees of the Department of Geography at UFRN by PET Geografia. The newspaper seeks to integrate PET and graduation, opening space for the student body to publish their texts in it.
In addition, it presents a series of columns related to geography and the course, as well as publicizing events and activities of the Department and the University. The publication of the periodical takes place on the PET Geografia blog and Facebook profile, in addition to the versions printed by the UFRN Editor, with the aim of reaching a greater number of readers.
