The Philharmonic Orchestra of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) performs the 5th concert of the 2019 season, which is part of the group's 10th anniversary celebration. In this edition, the event will have a charitable nature to help fund student Caio César's master's degree in Switzerland.
Caio César is the first bachelor in Euphonium from a federal university in Brazil, having stood out on the international musical scene, winning awards in several competitions, participating in renowned festivals and contributing to the dissemination of Brazilian music within the community of euphonists. Caio was approved to do his master's degree in Switzerland, but he needs to look for resources to make this dream come true.
The event takes place on June 22nd, in the auditorium of the UFRN School of Music (EMUFRN), in two sessions: at 6pm and 8pm. Tickets are priced at R$20 and can be purchased from the EMUFRN coordinator. All proceeds raised at the concert will go to Caio César, and it is also possible to contribute online with any amount, just access this link and make the donation.
