In order to raise awareness about viral hepatitis, the Dean of People Management (Progesp), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), is carrying out the Julho Amarelo Campaign. On July 23rd, at 1:30 pm, there will be rapid testing for HVI, syphilis and viral hepatitis at the Server Health Care Directorate (DAS).
Progesp's Health Counseling Program (PAS) carries out the action with the aim of intensifying the prevention and control of viral hepatitis through different actions, such as vaccination, rapid testing and distribution of condoms.
Hepatitis is a disease that causes inflammation of the liver and does not always present symptoms, but the most common are yellow eyes and skin, tiredness, fever, malaise, dizziness, vomiting, abdominal pain, dark urine and light stools. The most common types are caused by viruses A, B and C.
