Instituto Ágora opens registrations for Portuguese for Foreigners courses

The Ágora Institute, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), accepts registrations for its regular Portuguese for Foreigners courses. Registration takes place at the Ágora secretariat, from 1pm to 5pm, on August 18th and 19th, 2022.
To complete the link, documents such as an original passport, copies of the photo sheet and passport visa sheet, CPF (original and copy) and copy of proof of residence (may be in the name of third parties) will be required. Classes start on August 29th and end on December 23rd, with a semester fee of 250 reais.
Foreign students and professors (undergraduate and postgraduate) from UFRN or anyone from the external community with an appropriate visa can participate. Ágora offers the Portuguese I course, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 1:00 pm to 2:40 pm, which does not require a prerequisite. The Institute also offers Portuguese II, on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 1pm to 2:40pm, and Portuguese III, from 2:55pm to 4:35pm, which require a placement test for new students.
To take the placement test, the student must write an email to ple.ufrn@gmail.com, by 11pm on August 15th, deliberating on their desire to participate. The placement test takes place on August 17th, from 1pm to 5pm, in Auditorium 3 of Instituto Ágora. For more information or clarification, call: 3342-2257.
