Registration for the Unified Selection System (Sisu) begins this Tuesday (21), throughout Brazil. This year, there are 237 thousand vacancies in 128 public higher education institutions. The deadline is Friday (24). The Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) offers several options for students who wish to enter UFRN with Enem grades. Check below a brief profile of the degrees linked to the Center
Visual Arts
The Degree Course in Visual Arts trains professionals qualified to teach visual arts, who can work in basic schools (primary and high school) or in non-formal spaces, such as museums and art schools. Considering the training and experience acquired in the Course, the graduate will also be able to develop different activities related to production, promotion, management and research in visual arts, acting as an independent artist or collaborating in public and private institutions focused on culture. The training aims to develop the student's perception, reflection, criticism and creative potential, through theoretical and practical classes. The curricular structure is made up of subjects and activities that are divided into three axes: 1) Experimentation and Production; 2) Reflection, Theory and Research; and 3) Pedagogical Theory and Practice.
Audiovisual
The professional in this area will be trained to produce audiovisual pieces and manage teams. You will develop knowledge in the areas of creation, image and sound capture, production, direction, photography, among others.
Social Sciences (Bachelor and Degree)
The Bachelor of Social Sciences is qualified to work, fundamentally, in basic and applied research, aimed at reflection and theoretical and specific production in the areas of anthropology, political science and sociology, as well as being able to provide advice and planning to private and public companies. The Licensee is able to teach basic education in the areas of social sciences. Both can also pursue an academic career in higher education or research institutions.
Dance
Must have knowledge of the art of dance in its historical, artistic, pedagogical, scientific and professional aspects based on an ethical and reflective attitude.
Design
Must be trained with knowledge in the area of product design and visual communication, with applications in the creation of objects, machines, environments, posters, books, magazines, displays, audiovisual documents, computer program interfaces, websites and fashion, among other possibilities.
Philosophy (Bachelor and Degree)
The Philosophy professional is able to identify, question and debate the major themes of Philosophy in their historical context and in their diverse aspects, studying the human condition and the values related to it, whether aesthetic, ethical or religious. The Licensee is responsible for teaching philosophical subjects in primary, secondary and higher education. The Bachelor's degree works in the area of research, in the preparation of studies and projects that involve the study and applications of Philosophy, involving its various fields of study, as well as in higher education.
Geography (Bachelor and Degree)
The Bachelor may work as a geographer, researcher or independent professional with a very broad field of action that involves, among other activities, surveying, mapping, studies and research of a geographic nature, ecological characterization of the geographic landscape; studies on the use and preservation of natural resources; geographic delimitation and characterization for general, regional, urban and rural planning purposes. The Geography graduate will be able to work as a teacher in primary and higher education.
Public Policy Management
Professionals in this area develop their work based on technical and scientific knowledge in the area of public management, including planning, coordination, direction, advice, implementation and evaluation of public policies.
History (Bachelor and Degree)
The Bachelor in History must be able to work in the production of historical knowledge, employing theoretical approaches and appropriate methodological procedures, criticizing sources; act in the formation and organization of archives and museums, within the scope of document conservation, associating this work with reflection regarding their condition of supporting society's memory; produce knowledge of a historical nature
