Registration open for III Specialization Course in Teaching and Learning English as a Foreign Language

Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures, of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts of UFRN publishes selection notice for face-to-face classes of the Specialization Course in Teaching and Learning English as a Foreign Language, starting on August 6, 2016. Registration must be made by July 15, 2016 through SIGAA and candidates must attach the documentation contained in the item 2.3 of the notice.
In total, 50 vacancies are offered where graduates from all areas will be accepted and 10% of vacancies will be allocated to UFRN employees.
The selection will take place through analysis of the candidates' letter of intent and CVs, taking into account language proficiency, intended objectives and experience with teaching English. In case of a tie, an external evaluator will be called to give an opinion.
The results will be announced by email and on the course page on Sigaa by 07/26/2016. Those selected must attend Room 311, at the secretariat of the Postgraduate Program in Language Studies – PPgEL – CCHLA/Azulão, to register from 08/01/2016 to 08/03/2016.
The course investment will be 16 installments of R$185.00 and a registration fee of R$80.00. Classes will take place in person, on Saturdays, scheduled to start on 06/08/2016, and will last 14 months, with a total workload of 360 hours, divided into twelve subjects.
