Georisco, a research group from the Interdisciplinary Center for Research on Disasters (Nuped/UFRN), will hold, on the 23rd and 24th of November, the seminar “Georisco VI – Scientific Dissemination Seminar”. This is an online event to publicize the group's main scientific productions in 2022, with emphasis on the publication of books, technical reports and videos. The seminar will be held via Google Meet via the link https://meet.google.com/mwa-zpjy-yno. Registration can be made through Sigeventos.
The interested party must access the system with the login used to enter Sigaa, click on “Module” in the top right corner of the page, then click on “Participant Area” and choose “GEORISCO VI – SCIENTIFIC DISSEMINATION SEMINAR OF THE GEORISCO RESEARCH GROUP”. After that, look for the “Registration” tab and then click on “Register”. If you do not have a Sigaa login, you must register on the login page and confirm the data. After registering, carry out the steps described in the previous topic.
During the two days of the event, works made by Georisco graduates will be presented, such as the technical report “Database and geographic information system on disasters in the municipality of Natal, RN, Brazil”, by professor Lutiane Queiroz, as well as works produced by graduates of the group who are now at other universities, such as the thesis “Mass Movement Risk Indicators in Urban Areas: methodological proposal on a detailed scale applied to the neighborhood of Vila Embratel, São Luís–MA”, by Andreza dos Santos Louzeiro (UEMA).
