To celebrate its 10 years of creation in 2021, the Georisco research group, from the Department of Geography at UFRN, is holding the international GEORISCO seminar, with the collaboration of the Disaster Research Center (NUPED-UFRN).
The program, which runs until September 10th, features four conferences by renowned researchers on the topic of Disaster Risk Reduction.
The next conference, which takes place on July 30th, at 10am, will be given by Professor Ilan Kelman, from University College London, on the topic Why are natural disasters not natural?
