EDUFRN launches notices to support the publication of digital books

The UFRN Publisher (EDUFRN) launched four notices aimed at supporting digital book publications that fall within the editorial lines of Institutional Publication, Didactic-Pedagogical, Artistic-Cultural Resources and Classical Works. Submission of proposals occurs in a continuous flow, respecting the limit of submission of one proposal per proponent within a period of one year. In total, the Editor expects the approval of up to 25 proposals every 12 months of the notice period.
In the editorial lines of Institutional Publication and Didactic-Pedagogical Resources, technical-administrative employees and teachers, active or retired, can submit proposals. In the Artistic-Cultural and Classical Works editorial lines, submission is also open to cultural entities in Rio Grande do Norte.
The original evaluation process follows two eliminatory stages: framing analysis and merit analysis. Firstly, the adequacy or otherwise of the proposal to the items in the notice is checked; and the second refers to the judgment of publication proposals by the EDUFRN Editorial Board, based on opinions issued by experts in the proposal's area of knowledge.
The deadline for publishing approved works is 12 months, counting from the date of receipt of the final file, identified by EDUFRN. All works will be made available in the UFRN Institutional Repository with free access.
