Júlio Rocha, Ascom CCHLA

The e-book “Contributions from the Public Policy Field: a look at democracy in the 21st Century and the challenges for public management” will be launched next Monday, the 26th, organized by professors from the Department of Public Policy at UFRN, Lindijane Almeida and Raquel Silveira. The event will be broadcast from 3pm on the YouTube channel of Fundação João Pinheiro, publisher of the publication.

The launch will feature lectures by professor at the University of São Paul (USP), Fernando Coelho and professor emeritus at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) Peter Spink. The work is the result of research and work developed in the public field and raises questions such as, what challenges to overcome in order to consolidate effective public management, taking into account the Brazilian federative system? What issues need to be taken into account when thinking about public policy? What measures are necessary to establish a fully democratic environment?

The discussions arise from contributions from those who study, work, research and strengthen the discussion of an active, proactive Public Field present on the national and international scene. Also participating in the organization of the book are UFRN researcher Cadmiel de Melo and the director of the School of Government of Minas Gerais, Maria Isabel Rodrigues
