The seminar entitled: “Women have a voice: representation in Audiovisual” takes place on May 23rd, at 6:30 pm in auditorium II of DECOM. Promoted by the Communication department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN, the event aims to discuss the female presence in an active and direct way in the Rio Grande do Norte audiovisual scene, proposing the breaking of taboos, paradigms and gender stereotypes. Combating, in this way, machismo and prejudice.
The meeting open to the public will promote a lecture given by director Catarina Doolan, a screening of the web series Septo from Rio Grande do Norte and a conversation with actress and writer Alice Carvalho.
