Department of Arts promotes new dance show in August

The Department of Arts (Deart), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), will promote the Dança Juxtaposta Dança, a dance exhibition within the parameters suggested by the dance tasks. The activity takes place on August 10th, starting at 7pm, at Teatro Laboratório Jesiel Figueiredo, in Deart.
Organized by professor Marcos Bragato, from Deart, the show is an offshoot of the Choreographic Composition discipline and features the participation of students from the Dance Degree course at UFRN.
According to Professor Bragato, the presentation is structured around the proposal of dance tasks. "Based on specific instructions, a scene is created, and it can have pace, movement and immobility. It seems simple because it refers to everyday episodes, but it requires another type of strategy", he explains.
The presentation is free and open to the University's internal and external public, with no registration required.
