The Coordination of the Postgraduate Program in Social Sciences (PPGCS) at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) announces the opening of the exclusive selection process for candidates for affirmative action vacancies in Master's and Doctorate courses for the 2024.1 academic period.
For the Master's degree, 05 places will be available, distributed among the research lines according to Annex 01 of Notice No. 005/2023-PPGCS. If there is no fill in one of the research lines, the vacancy may be used in another. Of the total vacancies, 03 will be allocated to black, brown or indigenous people (PPI), 01 to People with Disabilities (PwD), and 01 to people of Quilombola origin (PQ).
For the Doctorate, 03 places are being offered, distributed across the lines of research according to Annex 01 of Notice No. 006/2023-PPGCS, and the same vacancy reservation criteria are applied: 01 place for PPI, 01 place for PwD, and 01 place for people of Quilombola origin (PQ).
It is important to highlight that there will be no priority for candidates who have an identity (PPI; PQ) and status as a person with a disability (PwD) or other specific needs.
Candidates’ registration request is free and runs from September 1st to 18th, 2023.
