The Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) at UFRN in partnership with the University Publishing House, Comunica and Sedis, carries out the fourth edition of the Study Cycle on Text Revision for Beginners. The event is scheduled to take place on August 29, 2023, in auditorium B of CCHLA, starting at 2 pm.
The Cycle focuses on text review, a fundamental process for improving the quality of written communications. This process involves linguistic adjustments, addressing orthographic, syntactic and semantic aspects, as well as discursive improvements. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the text reaches its most effective and communicative form.
In this edition of the event, the practical activities that were initiated during the Text Revision Workshop for Beginners, successfully held on the 11th, 12th and 13th of July 2023, will be continued.
The Study Cycle program will include a report on professional experience by a specialist in the field of text revision. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to interact in a practical text review activity.
This event is especially aimed at undergraduate students studying Literature and Journalism, as well as Portuguese language teachers who work in basic education. Participants will receive a certificate with a 4-hour workload.
