Promoted by the Social Sciences department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts (CCHLA) at UFRN, the Latin America in Cinema extension project shows its first session this Tuesday, 11th, starting at 6:45 pm, in the auditorium of the Zila Mamede Central Library (BCZM).
In addition to the film, a short film from Rio Grande do Norte titled “Imaterial”, directed by Davi Revoredo, will be shown.

About the film
The chosen film is “O Abraço da Serpente” by director Ciro Guerra. Lasting 125 minutes, the film will portray the story of a Shaman from an Amazonian village and the last survivor of his Amazonian tribe, who will choose isolation in the depths of the jungle, until he is found by a European botanist, who is in search of a powerful plant capable of making you dream.
