This Tuesday (22), the extension project “Masking in Urban Spaces”, by Labmask/Deart, invites everyone to participate in the Trajectory of Masking Practice meeting, which will feature a special conversation with masquerade André Marcelino da Silva Lewinsohn. The event will take place at 2:30 pm in Room E of Deart.
For those who don't know yet, André is an actor, masquerade, professor at Casa Amarela Escola de Artes and artistic coordinator of Apoema Escola. He has a Master's degree in Performing Arts from UFRN, a degree in sociology from UNESP and, since 2019, he has worked as a collaborating researcher on the Labmask project.
During the meeting, André will carry out a practical demonstration of mask modeling, at the same time, sharing his experiences and forays into the world of masks, from his first contacts, his discoveries, his technical and expressive development, to his current research.
The activity is free and open to the public, with no prior registration required. Students with 70% attendance will have a certificate of participation in the AACC extension project.
