ECT opens selection process for Journalism course scholarship

The Communications Office of the School of Science and Technology (Ascom/ECT) at UFRN launches this Monday, November 18th, Notice No. 01/2024, which opens registration for the selection of undergraduate students in Journalism. The opportunity is aimed at students regularly enrolled at UFRN, from the second period onwards, who have basic computer knowledge, good writing and creative skills. It is also necessary to be in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability, as defined by Joint Resolution 004/2022-CONSEPE/CONSAD.
The selected scholarship holder will receive a monthly scholarship of R$ 700.00 and must work 20 hours per week, with in-person office hours from 8 am to 12 pm. Among the responsibilities of the selected candidate are the production of institutional texts, releases, scripts and content for social networks, as well as photographic recording of activities, planning posts on the institutional website and presentation of institutional videos.
Registration begins on November 18th and continues until November 24th. Interested parties should send an email to ascom@ect.ufrn.br with their undergraduate transcripts and a letter of intent attached. If you have a portfolio, the candidate can send it as complementary material.
The approval of registrations will be published on the ECT website by November 26th, along with information about the interviews, which are part of the second stage of selection. The final result will also be published on the ECT website by December 2, 2024, and the selected scholarship holder will begin their activities in the first week of December.
