In a solidarity initiative in support of Pink October, a campaign is being carried out to collect scarves and cut hair, with the aim of benefiting patients undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The action is promoted in partnership with the Liga Norte-Riograndense de Combate ao Câncer.
The organizers invite the community to participate by donating hair with a minimum length of 20 cm, which must be clean and dry, including chemically treated hair. In addition, new or in good condition scarves are also welcome.
Donations can be delivered to collection points located in academic centers (CB, CE, CCET, CCSA, CCHLA and CCS).
Take part in this solidarity action and help transform lives. The fundraising period runs from October 7th to 25th.
