Cinéclub Lumière presents session on the film Jules et Jim

Cinéclub Lumière, an extension project for the French course, is holding another online debate session. The project will feature the participation of professors Carlos Braga and Enilson Santos, two lovers of French cinema and long-time cinephiles, and will take place via the Google Meet platform, on September 11th, at 6pm (https://meet.google.com/asf-uidv-rvw).
This time, the film chosen was Jules et Jim (A Woman for Two), by director François Truffaut. Jules et Jim is a symbol of Nouvelle Vague, a French artistic movement that marked the 60s and portrays themes such as affection, the complexity of human relationships and the protagonism of women, set against the backdrop of post-war Europe.
The film is available for free at https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1vE4lqTHVBuKUl14klMfTefYl67d2XzCh?usp=sharing. More information can be found on the project's social networks on Instagram (@cinelumièreufrn) and Facebook (@cineclublumiere).
