The Applied Psychology Service (SEPA) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will hold, on December 10th and 11th, the commemorative event “SEPA, 60 years building the future of psychology in RN!”. The program marks six decades of commitment to the academic, clinical and social training of psychology in the state, bringing together cultural activities, debate tables, tributes and discussions on fundamental topics for the field.
The actions on December 10th will take place in the Rectory Auditorium. The opening begins at 8:30 am, with a cultural presentation by the UFRN School of Music. At 9:00 am, the institutional opening table takes place, followed, at 9:30 am, by the lecture “The importance of services and school-clinics in clinical-political training”, given by professor Drª Maria Aparecida de França Gomes.
At 11:00 am, the conversation “Affects and memories of SEPA” will be held, with former directors, coordinated by Psychologist Ângela Lobo Costa, accompanied by an In Memoriam moment and a photo exhibition in the hall. Morning activities end at 12:30 pm.
On December 11th, the program continues at the CCET Amphitheater. The morning starts at 8:30 am with a cultural presentation by Max Mussi. Às 09h00, ocorre o debate “Inclusão na formação clínico-política em psicologia”, com o tema “Discurso, poder e subjetividades”, tendo como palestrante o Psicólogo Alan Freire (CRP-RN) e coordenação do Professor Dr. Mário Francis Londero. The morning ends at 12:30 pm.
In the afternoon, activities resume at 2:00 pm, with a new cultural presentation by Max Mussi, followed, at 2:30 pm, by the panel “Overcomings and challenges in mental health care and reorganization of RAPS”, coordinated by Professor Dr. Ricardo Ceccim. Next, the survey of demand for SEPA services (2023-2025) will be presented, conducted by Psychologist João Carlos Argolo. The event is scheduled to end at 6pm.
