Feminist practices: Writing and self-rewriting workshop

BRAVAS – Feminist Writers and Critics Brigade (collective of students and researchers, created at the beginning of 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic), invites you to a workshop open to all interested parties, where they will put into practice the critical and creative writing exercises they undertake every week.
The event will have two moments: the presentation of the collective and its members, where the collective's objectives, ongoing projects and a selection of texts written by its members will be presented; followed by a critical and creative writing workshop, with collective reading and critical reflection. In addition to providing a moment of meeting and sharing between women, we want to create a break for writing, taking the experiences of its members to other women who can, through the workshop, learn about the dynamics of their work. With the open meeting, of experience and dissemination, we hope to add new members to the collective.

Target audience: Students of History, Literature, Arts, university students in general, all those interested in exploring the creative power of collective writing; all those interested in the debate from a feminist perspective; all those interested in contributing to debates about women as producers of culture; all those interested in expanding the debate outside of hegemonic themes and cultural productions; all those interested in sharing experiences outside the logic of social media communication.
