XVIII Anthropology Week takes place from October 5th to 9th

The Department of Anthropology (DAN) and the Postgraduate Program in Social Anthropology (PPGAS) at UFRN will hold the annual Anthropology Week, from October 5th to 9th, 2020, with the theme “Audiovisual production in contemporary times”.

The event will feature ethnographic films, photographic exhibitions, thematic tables and working groups, with the purpose of discussing relevant themes about the discipline by stimulating scientific knowledge, reflection and contemporary dilemmas.

Working Groups:
GT 1 – POLICIES, DIRECTIONS AND ETHNICITIES
GT 2 – REPRESENTATIONS OF GENDER, SEXUALITY, BODY AND HEALTH IN THE CONTEMPORARY WORLD
GT 3 – PRODUCTION OF SUBJECTIVITIES, DEMANDS AND CONFLICTS AROUND TRADITIONAL POPULATIONS
GT 4 – IMAGE, DESIGN, SPACES AND TECHNOLOGIES

For submission of works, all presentation proposals must be sent to the email xviisemantgts@gmail.com by September 15th, with the Single Annex containing “Registration for Working Group” duly completed together with the file containing the expanded summary.
