In 2016, Insurgencias Urbanas II guided the discussion on the New Urban Agenda for Sustainable Urban Development from the perspective of the right to the city. In 2017, the third edition of the event sought to debate the challenges of democratic management of cities, highlighting the theme of Urban Corruption and the Review Process of the Natal Master Plan.
