Registration for Curva do Rio 2019 is open until Tuesday, April 30th. The university film festival is linked to the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). In this year's edition, regional and national exhibitions will also be competitive for short films of up to fifteen minutes. Registration is free and can be done via this link.
Curva do Rio is a national festival, of a competitive nature, held annually by Núcleo Mareia, which operates in the areas of training, exhibition and audiovisual production in Natal/RN. The exhibitions take place at UFRN's Communication Laboratory (LABCOM), and open the way for dialogue with the community. In addition to broadcasting short films, the festival seeks to promote rapprochement and dialogue between Brazilian university filmmakers.
During the program, workshops and debates will also take place and the exhibition will be divided into national and regional exhibitions. Short films of up to 15 minutes may be submitted, with credits produced in any format, with originality not necessary.
