UFRN hosts National Seminar on Solid Waste, Sustainability and Solidarity Economy

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will host, from the 21st to the 23rd of September, the II National Seminar on Research, Innovation and Social Technology in Solid Waste Management, Sustainability and Solidarity Economy. The event takes place in person, in the Nepsa 1 Auditorium, at the Center for Applied Social Sciences (CCSA). Registration can be done at SIGAA or in person during the program.
The seminar aims to facilitate public debate around solid waste management in Brazil. Furthermore, seek to publicize the results already obtained by the Research, Innovation and Social Technology Network in Solid Waste Management, Sustainability and Solidarity Economy (Repites). Participating in the event are members of the Research Network who will present the challenges of waste management in several states across the country, including: Marcia Janete da Cunha Costa (University of Western Pará), Sandro Benedito Sguarezi (University of the State of Mato Grosso) and Renato da Silva Della Vechia (Catholic University of Pelotas).
The event also brings together the 1st Regional Seminar of Repites (UFRN), which will promote the round tables “Research and Practices around Solid Waste at UFRN: connecting knowledge” and “Solid Waste Management in Rio Grande do Norte: challenges of the present”. The activity will feature programming open to the public and meetings aimed at researchers from the network.
