The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will host, for the second time, the International Seminar on Transformative Methodologies of the AMLAT Network. In its 10th edition, the event is organized by the Pragmatic Communication Research Group (PRAGMA) and the Postgraduate Program in Media Studies, both from the federal institution, and will take place between the 23rd and 26th of November in the Auditoriums of the Communication Laboratory and the Department of Physical Education.
With the theme “Communicative Citizenship, struggles for rights and democracy”, the event will bring together teachers from all over Latin America with the purpose of discussing topics related to the democratization and citizenship of communication. To this end, the program includes round tables, lectures and, also, the holding of the V Student Seminar of the AMLAT Network, which will feature the participation of doctoral students, master's students and undergraduates from universities that are part of the network.
Registration, which is available online in the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (SIGAA/UFRN), began last Thursday (03) and runs until November 20th. In total, there are 160 vacancies for student listeners from UFRN and other higher education institutions.
