UFRN hosts III Psychology and Social Policies Seminar

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) hosts the III Potiguar Seminar on Psychology and Social Policies, held by the Marxism & Education Research Group (GPM&E), on the 11th, 12th and 13th of September.
The third edition of the Seminar has as its theme Psychology and Social Policies: conservatism in times of barbaric capital, with the aim of discussing, together with professionals in the field of social policies and interested students, current problems and the development of practices.
The event features conferences, round tables and workshops, the purpose of which is to discuss, with professionals who are working in the field of social policies, with members of social movements and with students, issues concerning health, social assistance and public security.
The Seminar begins at 9 am on September 11th, with the opening conference Between Militias, Faith and Family: the Brazilian state against democracy, taught by the professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), Fernando Lacerda.
Registration for the Seminar is free and can be done via the Integrated Academic Activities Management System (Sigaa).
