UFRN hosts 14th Lusophone Open Science Conference

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) hosts, from September 18 to 21, 2023, the 14th Lusophone Open Science Conference (ConfOA). The event, with the theme “Open Science: Diversity, Inclusion and Sustainability”, aims to bring together communities from Portuguese-speaking countries that develop research activities, service management and policies related to open access to scientific information.
To participate in the work of the 14th Conference, with oral presentation, workshops and tutorials, including the production of demos and dissemination of panels and posters, interested parties must send their work proposal to the email: (http://conferencias.rcaap.pt/), by April 3rd.
Projects must be within the themes proposed for this edition: Open Access and Open Research Data: systems, policies and practices; Open Science and other expressions of open knowledge; and Science and Technology information management.

ConfOA 14
ConfOA has been taking place for 14 years and is foreseen in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Ministers of Science and Technology of Portugal and Brazil in October 2009. In this edition, 21 members of the Portuguese scientific community and 25 members of the Brazilian scientific community were invited.
