On the 16th, 17th and 18th of October, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will hold the XI Scenes of Enunciation Seminar, which will have as its theme the legacy of the philosopher Michel Foucault, in memory of the 40th anniversary of his death. The event is organized by the FEsTA Research Center (Formulas and Stereotypes: Theory and Analysis) and by the Postgraduate Program in Language Studies (PPgEL) at UFRN.
The seminar will take place in person on the UFRN campus, in Natal, with live broadcast on YouTube. Registration is free, and participants who attend as listeners will receive a 12-hour certificate. Registration can be made via sigeventos.ufrn.br.
Among the speakers will be professors from several Brazilian universities, such as Sírio Possenti (Unicamp), Luciana Salgado, Márcio Gatti and Roberto Baronas (UFSCar). The event will also include a special table with PPgEL doctoral students, who will present their research. At the opening, there will be the launch of books by renowned professors in the field.
