UFRN holds round table: “The conservative fallacy: the myth(-ideo)logy of neutral science-schools”

Promoted by the social sciences department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN, the round table “The conservative fallacy: the myth(-ideo)logy of neutral school science”, will feature the participation of professors Alipio de Sousa Filho, from the social sciences department, and Durval Muniz de Albuquerque Junior, from the history department. The event takes place on May 12th, starting at 4pm in the UFRN NEPSA Auditorium.
The objective is to discuss the current conservative offensive that aims to prevent the construction of critical thinking in the production of knowledge and teaching in Brazilian schools, showing that there is no neutral science and school and, at the same time, demonstrating the fallacy of conservative thinking.
