In celebration of the National Day of Brazilian Sign Language, celebrated this Monday, the 24th, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promotes the Ágora Institute's Libras Week. The event, which has an exclusive program for students of Ágora's basic Libras courses, will take place between the 24th, 26th and 29th of April, during the morning in Auditorium 2 of the Institute and in sector 2 of UFRN classes.
On Monday morning, the event began with the showing of thematic videos and interaction through a conversation circle, with dynamics and challenges for participants. On Wednesday, the 26th, from 10:50 am to 12:30 pm, the program features Cine Surdo, with the film “Meu nome é Jonas”, in auditorium 2 of Ágora.
For Saturday, the program continues from 7:50 am to 11:40 am, in room 3 of block A, sector 2 of UFRN. The event's classes will be taught by Daniel Bezerra, Laleska Honorato, Stephanie Sousa and Silvia Larissa, scholarship holders from Ágora's Libras Pedagogical Area, with the collaboration of professor Joatan Ferreira de Medeiros, from the Department of Letters (Delet).
