With the aim of providing an artistic exchange with researchers from Brazil and Latin America in relation to the ritualistic origins of theater, the Arkhétypos group linked to the Arts department of the Center for Human Sciences, Letters and Arts at UFRN promotes a “Latin American Ritual Theater Exchange”. The event takes place from April 27th to 30th, starting at 10am in the Arts department (DEART) at UFRN.
With the participation of two Argentine researchers, Prof. Patricia Bélières and Prof. Alejandro Cancela, both from the Escuela de Interpretación Bélières-Cancela, from Profª. Dr. Lara Rodrigues Machado from UFBA and Prof. Dr. Luciana Lyra from UERJ, the project will include the presentation of shows, workshops and lectures and aims to discuss the guiding principles of the practice of Ritual Theater developed in Latin America.
