In September, the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) hosts the II Research Colloquium on Educational Policies (PPGEd) and the I Integrated Research Seminar: expansion and quality of higher education in the context of the National Education Plan (2014-2024). The events take place from September 18th to 20th, in the morning and afternoon, at the Education Center (CE).
The actions, which aim to discuss different approaches and research results in the educational area, are developed based on presentations of research projects by master's and doctoral students at the University, where they receive guidance from professors and professionals from both UFRN and other higher education institutions.
The program consists of conferences, panels, thematic tables and workshops. The opening will be at 9 am, followed by the conference Brazilian education: tensions, limits and perspectives, taught by professor Nelson Cardoso do Amaral, from the Federal University of Goiás (UFG).
The events are promoted by the Educational Policy Laboratory and the Education, Policy and Educational Praxis Research Line of the Education Postgraduate Program (PPGED). More information can be obtained via email: coloquiodepesquisa2019@gmail.com or via the project's Instagram, @ufrnlap.
