UFRN promotes Aula Magna on April 28th

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) promotes, on April 28th, the Aula Magna for the period 2022.1, which addresses the theme of Socio-emotional skills in training, work and the future: the self, the other and what neurosciences have to teach us. The lecture will be given by the professor at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), José Neander Silva Abreu, from 9 am, in the Otto de Brito Guerra Auditorium, in the Rectory of UFRN.
Psychologist and specialist in Neuropsychology, Neander de Abreu will promote a conversation about how neurosciences contribute to the understanding and improvement of emotional skills, both from a personal and professional point of view. The moment closes the program commemorating the beginning of the 2022 academic year, which began on March 28, with commemorative activities on the UFRN campuses in Currais Novos, Caicó, Santa Cruz and Macaíba.

Professor José Neander Silva Abreu has a PhD in Neurosciences and Behavior (University of São Paulo), productivity fellow 2 from the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Psychology at UFBA. He was president of the Brazilian Society of Neuropsychology (SBNp) and is currently a member of the International Society of Neuropsychology and leader of the Clinical and Cognitive Neuropsychology Laboratory – Neuroclic – CNPq/UFBA Research Group.
