UFRN promotes public hearing on Inclusion and Accessibility Policy

   The Inclusion and Accessibility Policy for People with Disabilities at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) will be discussed in a public hearing, on April 26th, starting at 9am, in the Ágora Institute auditorium. The initiative aims to open up to society in general the opportunity to give their opinion on the topic, with a focus on contributing to the content of the Policy currently being prepared at UFRN.
   “The document has the main objective of guiding, through guidelines, the promotion of equity and the active participation of people with disabilities at the University, contributing to effective social inclusion”, highlights the president of the Permanent Support Committee for Students with Special Educational Needs (Caene), Ricardo Lins, who highlights the importance of external participation for a broader discussion. The presence of associations, non-governmental organizations, legal sectors, among other representatives of society is expected at the public hearing.
