The Applied Psychology Service (Sepa), in partnership with the Public Health Care Division (DAS) and the Applied Social Sciences Research Center (Nepsa), carries out the White January campaign at UFRN 2020. In its 5th edition, the program takes place from the 7th to the 30th of January 2020, with the theme Who takes care of the mind, takes care of life!.
Studies presented by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Ministry of Health indicate that in Brazil there is an increase in problems related to mental and emotional health, given this, the campaign seeks to promote debate and awareness about these issues. There will be 16 activities, including chats, film screenings, art workshops, meditation, yoga, mandala and pilates, covering topics such as shyness, autism and sexuality.
The programming is open to the internal and external community, with some having restricted numbers of places. Registration begins on December 30th and can be done via Sigaa.
