The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) organizes the 3rd National Meeting of Brazilian Literature and Society, scheduled to take place between the 7th and 10th of November. The event will be held virtually, with live broadcast via the YouTube channel dedicated to the meeting. Registration for participation can be made using an available QR Code.
With the presence of 27 experts, both from the university itself and from other institutions, the National Meeting of Brazilian Literature and Society promises to provide enriching debates on literature, cinema, theater, history, sociology, visual arts and criticism.
This event is organized by teachers and researchers who are part of the Research Group on Brazilian Literature and Society, made up of teachers from the universities UFPE, UFRPE, UFRN and UFPB, in the areas of History, Literature and Social Sciences. The national meeting is the result of a joint effort aimed at advancing research and promoting public universities in Brazil.
With an interinstitutional and transdisciplinary character, the meeting will highlight Brazilian literature as a starting point for understanding and discussing fundamental issues in contemporary society.
