The Dean of Student Affairs (Proae), at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), offers aid and student assistance grants to students regularly enrolled in in-person graduations. The selection notice establishes the registration deadlines as August 2nd, for those who will renew the benefit, and August 10th, for students who will register for the first time.
According to the deputy dean of Proae, José Pereira de Melo, UFRN's student assistance programs are aimed at undergraduate students who prove to be in a situation of social and economic vulnerability, with the priority objective of ensuring students with low purchasing power basic conditions for their quality stay at the institution.
The benefits are intended for students from Natal, Macaíba, Faculty of Health Sciences of Trairi (Facisa) and the Higher Education Center of Seridó (Ceres), in the modalities of food, transport, residence, daycare, glasses and athlete.
