The Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) in partnership with the State University of Rio Grande do Norte (UERN) promotes the III Brazilian Meeting of Traditional Studies (EBET), from June 8 to 10, 2022. Registration and the complete program are available through Sigaa.
The event will have in-person and remote activities, around themes such as Classical Geopolitics, National Interest and Traditional Education. Issues involving Distributism, Family Property, Post-Secular Society and Tradition will also be debated, with an emphasis on issues of Cultural Heritage, Freedom and Individual Responsibility.
The activities are distributed in discussion groups around the presentation of works, lectures and round tables. Undergraduate and postgraduate students from UFRN and partner institutions participated in these groups, with teachers from the public education network and other researchers and scholars of traditional themes. The objective is to offer everyone the opportunity to debate topics that are rarely discussed in the country.
Presentation of works
On the 8th and 9th of June, from 8 am to 12 pm, oral presentations of the Discussion Groups (GDs) will be held. The activities will be in the UFRN Geography Auditorium, with work previously sent via email 2congeo@gmail.com
The selection and order of presentation of works is at the discretion of the event organization. The format of works to be sent by email must meet the following standards: summary of up to 1 page in Word, Arial 12, single spaced, with title and authorship at the top and centered, and three keywords at the end.
The deadline for registration with a work presentation will be June 1st, 2022. Each author will have up to 20 minutes for an oral presentation of the work, having access to the multimedia projector. After each block of 3 works presented there will be a debate promoted by the moderator.
